1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide: Name, email address, phone number, shipping address (when you reserve or purchase), payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers), and any communications you send us.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, time and date of visits, and cookies/similar technologies for site analytics.

1.3 Device Data (Post-Purchase): If you use a XOWALKER product with connected features, we may collect anonymized usage data including step count, gait patterns, battery cycles, and error logs — solely for product improvement and safety monitoring. This data is anonymized and cannot be linked to your identity without your explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to: (a) process reservations and orders; (b) communicate product updates, shipping notifications, and support; (c) improve our website and products; (d) comply with legal obligations; (e) detect and prevent fraud. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing

We may share your information with: (a) Stripe, Inc. for payment processing; (b) Service providers who assist with email delivery, analytics, and hosting, under strict confidentiality agreements; (c) Law enforcement when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights; (d) Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will never share your health or device usage data with insurers, employers, or other third parties without your explicit written consent.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); (d) opt out of marketing communications at any time; (e) request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@xowalker.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function properly.

7. Children's Privacy

Our website and products are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data we collect, the right to delete your data, and the right to opt out of the sale of your data. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact privacy@xowalker.com.
